Many funeral homes across the country offer a streaming video service to families, according to Bryant Hightower, president-elect of the National Funeral Director’s Association. It’s a consumer-driven trend: “A lot of people have experienced watching a funeral online and now the market is really beginning to come to us,” Lutterman, of One Room, said.
Death does not always come with advance notice. A loved one suddenly passing can throw lives near and far into turmoil.
Sometimes, traveling to a funeral is just not possible, due to the distance involved or the cost of getting there. However, participating in a funeral service and having the opportunity to say goodbye to a loved one is now possible, even if loved ones are not able to physically be in the funeral parlor.
Live Stream Webcasts allow distant family and friends to attend the memorial service of loved ones in “real time” and feel the importance of “being part of the service”. Livestream Webcasts are recorded and immediately available for playback. (Webcast services subject to available Internet service)

A high-quality, live broadcast of the service can be viewed on any device. A link and password will be provided for anyone who will be viewing the funeral service anywhere internet access is available. A video recording of the funeral service will also be available to view after the service.
