Withlacoochee Trail Ride and Jam - McCulley Farms

Set up camp and get ready for a weekend of history, horseback riding and fun. Visit the Wells Log Cabin (circa 1870) and pioneer cemetery located near the trailhead. Journey through the river flood plain and along the banks of the Withlacoochee River. This is a very diverse area with an abundance of wildlife and a wide variety of indigenous plant and tree species. Canopy lanes and single file trails wind past ancient dry sinkholes, cavernous sinkholes, crystal clear springs and over five miles along the banks the pristine Withlacoochee River. Loop through a 2000 acre Yellow Pine state forest and see a little piece of the original Florida.
